Objectives of the Course

To use dictionary in a right way, and to teach the semantic differences between two languages while giving the translation technique that is dissecting long/complex sentences into small parts, and then to translate them. To translate English sentences and text into Turkish by using this technique.

Course Content

Teaching the right and practical way of dictionary use, dissecting long/complex sentences into small parts, and then translating them into Turkish, translating a selected short text or story into Turkish by using this technique.

1.1. Employing correct word practicably in translations from English into Turkish
2.2. Differences between the two languages in terms of expression and discourse
3.3. Determining the grammatical components of a sentence and dissecting it into smaller parts by means of which a better translation will be possible.
