Objectives of the Course

To teach dictionary usage and translation technique which is to dissect long and complex sentences into small units or phrases. To put emphasis on the fact that it is not always possible find clear edged words to cover the intended meaning. To translate Turkish sentences into English by using this technique.

Course Content

Teaching the best use of dictionary, dissecting long/complex/compound sentences into small parts, and translating them into English. Translating a text or a short story which consists of that kind of long/complex/compound sentences by using dissection technique.
