The aim of English in Economics I course is to provide students with the English language skills used in the field of economics. This course aims to provide students with the competence to understand, analyze and express economic concepts and theories in English. Throughout the course, it is aimed to strengthen students' grammatical skills by first covering various academic grammar topics and secondly, teaching the English equivalents of microeconomic terms.
English in Economics I course introduces students to academic English grammar and microeconomic terms. For this purpose, grammar rules and sentence structures are first introduced. Then, these grammar rules are used to understand and analyze various sentences and paragraphs containing terms related to microeconomics.
