Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to enable undergraduate economics students to develop their ability to do group work on a specific economic topic and to enable them to present this work in front of the community. The other purpose of this course is to enable students to discuss the presented topic, improve their questioning skills and increase their evaluation skills.

Course Content

Students will work on the economic topics they have chosen, prepare a text and present it in class.

Learning Outcomes
1.Gains the ability to collaboratively determine and define a research topic within a group setting.
2.Develops the competence to prepare an academic presentation in cooperation with a team on a selected topic.
3.Enhances the ability to access reliable, current, and valid sources during the process of scientific research and to utilize them effectively.
4.Acquires the skill to present a prepared scientific text in an effective and comprehensible manner in front of an audience, in accordance with academic standards.
5.Improves the ability to create visually effective presentation materials that are coherent with the content and support scientific communication.
6.Gains the responsibility to compose a scientific text in line with academic writing conventions and submit it to the relevant authorities within the specified deadline.
