Objectives of the Course

To increase the level of computer usability of students by giving information about the basic hardware parts of the computer and their functions; to show how to use various office applications (MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point, etc.) that may be necessary in education and business life. In addition, by showing the sources of information from which economic data can be obtained, it is to make applications on how economic data can be used in assignments and presentations.

Course Content

On the one hand, this course introduces students to the use of basic software packages used in almost every computer; on the other hand, it facilitates students to prepare homework, perform various calculations and prepare presentations on the computer. Today, many economic data about countries and economies are announced every day. Students will also learn how to visualize and present these data.

Learning Outcomes
1.Students know the basic hardware and functions of the computer.
2.Students can prepare written documents using Microsoft Word program.
3.Students can use Microsoft Excel program to make various calculations and create tables.

5.Have knowledge about economic data sources and be able to use them in presentations and assignments.
