Businesses play a fundamental role in the economic system of a country. Business administration education provides the knowledge and skills that enable businesses operating in a rapidly changing global environment to be managed effectively. In this context, business administration education addresses the processes related to strategic management, marketing, financing, accounting, human resources, marketing, finance, accounting, human resources and contemporary management techniques to make the right decisions that will ensure the effective and efficient use of resources. Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration; Management and Organization, Accounting and Finance, Quantitative Methods, Production Management and Marketing and Commercial Law. The programs of our department consist of compulsory courses covering the subjects of the departments and a large number of elective courses that our students can choose from starting from the 3rd grade. The content of the courses is designed to enable our students to acquire theoretical and practical business knowledge, to solve business problems and to think analytically.
History
Business Administration graduate programme has been active since 1994.
Mission
The mission is to educate individuals who are equipped with both theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of business administration; who can adapt to the dynamics of the business world with an interdisciplinary perspective; who are capable of solving problems through scientific methods and distinguished by their effective communication skills; and who possess analytical thinking and strategic decision-making abilities, as well as entrepreneurial spirit, innovativeness, adherence to ethical values, and a strong sense of social responsibility.
Vision
The vision is to become a leading academic department recognized at national and international levels, distinguished by its education approach based on scientific research and practical application, and by its capacity to cultivate entrepreneurial and innovative professionals who are responsive to technological advancements.
Purpose
Our Department has the target to develop knowledge and skills of the students by trainig them with modern business approaches in a rapidly changing world without ignoring the conditions in our country.
Physical Infrastructure
Nazilli Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences is situated in İsabeyli, twenty minutes far from Nazilli and has a three-block, 26-square-meter indoor spaced central building, which includes 15 lecture halls, 8 classes, 2 computer labs with 7/24 internet connection, 1 library, 1 canteen, 1 student and 1 staff dining hall besides a total of 80 office rooms 64 of which are allocated to the academic staff. Also, dormitories for boys and girls, 500 bed capacity for each are located near the central building. IT and internet infrastructure in the faculty were designed to serve constantly to the academic and administrative staff via the desktop and laptop computers available in all Office rooms; hence, permanent Access to academic/scientific publications have been assured. Students, too, have the same opportunity by means of the computer labs open during educational terms. Students also use the internet Access of nearby cafes/restaurants.
