Objectives of the Course

This course deals with basic principles and theories of finance and their application in the business area. Time value of money, financial planning, investment decisions and factors influencing these decisions, capital structure, optimum fund raising methods are the fundemantal topics of the course.

Course Content

Description of Financial Management, Time Value of Money, Financial Analysis, Financial Planning and Control, Short Term Funding Medium Term Funding, Long-Term Funding, Cost of Capital and Optimal Capital Structure, Dividend Policy, Working Capital Management, Cash and Cash Management of Equivalents, Accounts Receivable and Inventory Management, Capital Budgeting, Monetary and Capital Markets ( Tools, Institutions), Stocks and Bonds Valuation)
