Objectives of the Course

In addition to fundamental finance, this course aims to teach mathematical operations required for financial calculations.

Course Content

The definition and importance of simple interest, Calculation of simple interest, External interest, internal rate, the average interest rate, average term, simple definition of discounting, simple discount operations (external discounted method, internal discount method), the replacement of securities (equivalent securities), the definition of compound interest and compound interest calculations, the nominal interest rate, effective interest rate, compound discount (external discounted method, internal discount method, equivalent securities, average maturity), Annuities. Normal Annuities, present and future value of annuities, other annuities, Debt Amortization, Depreciation methods, Fixed Depreciation, increasing straight-line depreciation, decreased payline depreciation, payment of proclaimed debt.
