The aim of the Energy Economics course is to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to understand the economic analysis of energy resources and the functioning of energy markets. The course covers basic concepts such as energy markets, energy pricing, energy policies, and environmental issues related to energy. Students are expected to be able to evaluate the basic principles of energy economics, the dynamics of energy markets, and sustainable energy policies.
The Energy Economics course covers topics such as energy sources and classification, energy markets such as coal, oil, natural gas, and renewable energy, energy and environment interaction, global warming and climate change, and international climate change agreements.
