Objectives of the Course

This course provides theoretical and also practical background in the area of public dept. The goals of this course are to study causes of public borrowing, source of public borrowing and to examine public dept in developing countries and Turkey.

Course Content

The concept of public dept, classification of public dept, causes and sources of public borrowing, the concept of public dept management, debt burden, ordinary and extraordinary of public debt management, public dept in developing countries, development of public dept in Turkey.

5.Analyzes the economic and fiscal effects of borrowing.
