Objectives of the Course

The monetary policy course aims to analyze economic policies using the concepts learned in the monetary theory course and to evaluate how monetary policies can contribute to macroeconomic objectives such as economic growth, inflation, and employment.

Course Content

The course focuses on the basic concepts, instruments, monetary policy, monetary and financial system, its implementation and economic effects.

4.Describes monetary transmission mechanisms and examines their role in economic policy.
5.Analyzes how monetary policy has evolved in different periods in Turkey and interprets the effects of these developments on economic conditions.
