Objectives of the Course

The aim of the course is to give knowledge about relation, function, limit, continuity and derivation in order to construct a basic mathematical structure, and to gain the ability of thinking rationally for solving problems.

Learning Outcomes
1.Defines and classifies fundamental mathematical concepts such as sets, numbers, and functions.
2.Analyzes the behavior of functions using the concepts of limits, indeterminate forms, and continuity.
3.Applies differentiation rules and interprets tangent lines and graphs related to the derivative of a function
4.Solves maximum and minimum problems using derivatives and interprets them in an economic context.
5.Constructs curve sketches and performs graphical analysis using derivatives of various functions.
