Objectives of the Course

In this course, we will try to understand what society is, and the components of society such as institutions (economy, religion, politics, family, etc.), culture, stratification, etc. will be analyzed.

Industrial Revolution and French Revolution, Westernization, Islamism, Turkism, Westernism, modern sociology in Türkiye, coups and intellectual movements
