Objectives of the Course

Basic concepts of constitutional law, analysis of the relationships between constitutions and the social and political forces that determine the formation of legal norms.

Course Content

The contents of the concepts of state, law and constitution, social dynamics and the emergence of constitutional regimes, the making and amendment of constitutions, the organs of the state, the legislature, the executive and the judiciary, the logic of the principles of separation and unity of powers, public freedoms and fundamental rights and liberties,

Learning Outcomes
1.To be able to associate the relationship between the Constitution and other constitutional equivalents on the basic characteristics of the regime
2.To be able comprehend the importance of human rights and freedoms
3.To be able express the connection of the Constitution with other branches
4.To be able to recognise the basic organizational structure of the state
5.To be able to establish the relationship between fundamental rights and freedoms of social processes.
6.To be able comprehend the critical importance of the principle of separation of powers carried in terms of democratic regime.
