Objectives of the Course

The aim of the course is to teach the principles governing administrative litigation law, the duties, powers and responsibilities of administrative litigation in the light of case studies and court precedents, which are likely to be of particular help to students in their professional lives. It focuses on judicial control of the administration and its methods, which is one of the important requirements of being a state governed by the rule of law.

Course Content

Judicial regimes accepted in the world and in Türkiye. The place of administrative judiciary in the general judicial regime. Types of judicial control. Theory of administrative judiciary. Methods of administrative judiciary.

Learning Outcomes
1.Learn the characteristics of administrative justice and administrative judicial authorities.
2.Learns the procedural rules that are valid at the first examination stage in administrative judiciary.
3.Learns the characteristics and function of the cancellation lawsuit which aims to protect the principles of rule of law, justice and equality.
4.Learns the characteristics and function of the full judgement case in administrative jurisdiction.
5.Learns the legal remedies of appeal, appeal, appeal in favour of the law and renewal of the proceedings in administrative judiciary.
