Specialization Field Course. The primary aim of this course is to enhance students’ ability to conduct research on a specific academic topic, perform literature reviews, collect and analyze data, and develop scientific thinking along with written and oral communication skills. It equips students with the competencies to carry out research within an ethical academic framework, to plan and report a structured research process under the guidance of a supervisor. Through seminar presentations, the course also fosters self-confidence, public speaking, and active participation in academic discussions. Ultimately, it aims to familiarize students with the logic of scientific inquiry and prepare them for postgraduate academic work.
The Seminar course is designed for students to conduct academic research on a topic of their choice or one assigned by their advisor. It covers key stages such as literature review techniques, formulating research questions, evaluating sources, academic writing, data collection methods, reporting formats, and presentation strategies. Throughout the semester, students plan, carry out, and document their research in the form of a written report. At the end of the process, each student presents their findings orally and defends them in a critical discussion environment. The course aims to cultivate familiarity with academic research culture and support the development of a scholarly identity.
