The aim of the course Labor Market Data Analysis is to equip students with knowledge of key labor market indicators, data sources, and analytical methods. Within the scope of the course, students develop skills in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting labor market data; and they apply basic statistical and econometric methods to analyze indicators such as employment, unemployment, wages, and poverty.
The course Labor Market Data Analysis introduces students to national and international labor market data sources (such as TURKSTAT, ILO, OECD). Within the scope of the course, students learn the measurement methods of key indicators such as labor supply and demand, unemployment, employment, wages, and income distribution; and they apply statistical analysis, regression analysis, and policy impact evaluation methods. In addition, the course addresses the data analysis dimensions of contemporary topics such as digitalization and migration.
