Objectives of the Course

Specialization Field Course. The aim of this course is to establish an academic and sectoral bridge that will enable students to associate the theoretical knowledge they have acquired during their undergraduate education with real life applications. Within the scope of the course, with the contribution of both academics and various actors of working life, current labour relations in Turkey and at the regional level, labour market dynamics, human resources management, social security practices and the transforming structure of working life will be discussed in a multi-dimensional way.

Course Content

This course discusses the current problems of labour markets with both academic and practical perspectives in the fields of social security, trade union rights, human resources management, labour law and social policy. Following the theoretical seminar to be held by a different faculty member each week, sectoral experiences are transferred with the participation of practitioners from the business world. Thus, students gain both theoretical depth and field knowledge and develop equipment for their professional orientation after graduation.
