The objective of the "Private Insurance Practices" course is to teach students the fundamental concepts of the insurance sector, types of insurance, contract processes, and practical examples; to equip students with practical knowledge and skills in areas such as insurance risk analysis, premium calculations, and claims management; and to enable them to critically evaluate private insurance practices.
This course begins with the fundamental concepts of insurance, types of insurance, and its operation; products such as life insurance, health insurance, auto insurance, and homeowners insurance are discussed in detail. It also covers the preparation of insurance policies, premium calculation methods, risk analysis, claims processes, and insurance arbitration practices. Throughout the course, practical activities such as case studies, policy reading and comparison, and the analysis of sectoral developments are conducted.
