Objectives of the Course

Developments in ICTs change the socio-economic structure of societies rapidly. These societies have to adopt themselves those changes to sustain their economic developments. The aim of this course is describing the transformation process going on the world and discussing the strategies developed in the way of adaptation

Information and knowledge / access to and usage of information/ globalization of / changes in production techniques/ socio-economic transformations of societies/ knowledge society and knowledge economy/ new economy and characteristics/ changes in micro, macro and international economic theory/ intellectual property / ICT and internet/ e-commerce/ e-government/ R&D/ innovation/ education and human capital are the topics that will be explained.
