Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to enable students to understand the modern banking system, core banking operations, risk management, and the national and international regulatory frameworks. It also aims to provide students with the ability to analyze banking products and supervision mechanisms. In this context, the course seeks to equip students with applied knowledge and analytical skills in banking and finance.

Course Content

This course covers the basic structure, history, products, and services of the banking system. It examines the role of banking in the financial system, risks faced by banks, international banking practices, and the regulatory and supervisory framework. It also addresses current issues such as combating the financing of terrorism and the role of banks in international trade.
