Objectives of the Course

Course Objectives; to give general information about Foreign Trade, Related Concepts, Foreign Trade Theories, Documents Used in Foreign Trade Transactions, Delivery Methods in Foreign Trade, Payment Methods and Documents in Foreign Trade, Customs Legislation and Foreign Exchange Legislation. With this information, the student is to gain the ability to make basic foreign trade transactions and applications.

Course Content

The students will learn the laws, by-laws and regulations on export, import, customs and foreign exchange legislation within the scope of foreign trade legislation and will be able to apply these legislations effectively in import and export transactions. In addition, the student will gain the ability to manage the legal and financial aspects of foreign trade transactions by understanding the functioning of legislation and tax obligations.
