To teach basic theoretical and practical knowledge about Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and to enable students to utilize this knowledge for professional purposes, including data collection, entering data into the database according to GIS rules, generating new data and information, and analyzing and interpreting this information.
The investigation of the fundamental principles of geographic information systems, data entry, data management, data transfer and integration of Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems, including teaching the methods, software, and hardware used for this purpose.
