Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to teach to students defining soil microorganisms and functions, understanding relationships between soil microorganisms and soil management, agricultural production, physical, chemical properties of soil and soil quality.

Course Content

The classification of soil microorganisms, their ecology, counting methods of soil microorganisms, the effects of soil management, the relationships with soil fertility, biochemical reactions realized by soil microorganisms, biological dinitrogen fixation, transformations of some trace elements.

5.To be able to apply soil microbiological analyses and evaluate the results.
