Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to provide the students with the ability to use mathematical processes in economic analysis. In this context, it is targeted to enable them to understand how mathematical background may be used in statistical, econometric and optimization problems.

Course Content

The scope of mathematical economics, basic terminology, matrices, functions, derivatives and use of derivative in the economy, exponential functions, multivariate functions and their use in the economy, integral and its use in the economy
