Objectives of the Course

To teach employing statistics methods on solution of the problems that are within the scope of agricultural economics

A linear regression model with a single explanatory variable, multiple linear regression model with more explanatory variables, nonparametric tests, indexes

Learning Outcomes
1.To gain using capabilities of statistical methods and tools intended for solution of problems evaluated in the framework of agricultural economics.
2.To benefit from statistical modeling in order to forecast some implications prudential within constitution of agricultural politics and agricultural holdings.
3.To employ statistical models at optimum level to be carried out decision making process with the most efficient and quickest way within the scope of agricultural economic concept.
4.Gaining the ability to test hypotheses by examining the data analytically
5.To gain the ability to calculate and interpret statistical criteria in economic data

Calculation of estimators in regression models, assumptions of linear regression model, usefulness of the model, correlation, coefficient of determination

Multiple linear regression model with more explanatory variables, solution of multiple linear regression models, usefulness of estimators, usefulness of the model

Nonparametric tests, sign test, small sample sizes, large sample sizes
