Objectives of the Course

Main objective of this course is to provide the students’ ability on using important planning method and tools during decisions of precise farm management and improving of an integrated farm management strategies

Course Content

This course involves practical implementations on farm management analysis and farm planning techniques, analysis of production function, linear and nonlinear programming, simulation techniques, research, extension and agricultural planning.

1.To be able to list beneficial principles in farm management decisions and improving of an integrated management strategies
2.To be able to identify decision making methods and tools for farm management decisions
3.To be able to apply and implement concepts that are important to be established a successful farm management and entrepreneurship
4.To be able to optimize use of agricultural input and output, and also to enhance this outcome with current agricultural politics and strategies
5.To be able to determine and interpret the performance of agricultural enterprises.

Defining structural circumstances, production characteristics and differences of agricultural enterprises

Introduction of cost, revenues and profitability in agricultural enterprise, and also determination of the factors effected to those arguments criticized above

Measuring of operating results and achievement situation of agricultural enterprises

Identification of enterprise planning, objective, definition and the tools employed in planning

Basic concepts and practices used in enterprise planning
