Objectives of the Course

Digital agriculture is an agricultural management system based on information, technology and production that aims to reduce negative impacts on the environment, ensure sustainable production, increase yield and profit by using new technologies at the right time, in the right place and in the right way.

Course Content

Introducing concepts such as Agriculture 4.0/5.0, precision agriculture with the use of Information and Communication Technologies in the agricultural sector and innovative applications. Transferring the concept of digital agriculture with technological developments in the field of agriculture. Introducing image processing, land and plant information systems, remote sensing techniques and geographic information systems, teaching basic information, methods, software and hardware used for this purpose.
