Introduction to microorganisms and teaching of their positive and negative effects on human, animals and plant life.
Structure and diversity of microorganisms (prokaryotic and eukaryotic microorganisms, microscopy techniques, their ecology, growth coniditions, and classification), control of microbial growth (sterilization techniques), antibiotics and resistance mechanisms to antibiotics.
