Programme Outcomes
1.As a member of the health team, collaborates with other team members, women, family and community and maintains effective communication.
2.To be able to produce solutions to the problems encountered by using lifelong learning, creativity, critical thinking and leadership skills.
3.Provides care, education and counseling to individuals with a professional approach and awareness of professional ethics and responsibilities.
4.Provides culturally sensitive, evidence-based and individualized care and performs necessary interventions to protect and improve health during pre-pregnancy, pregnancy, birth and postpartum periods.
5.Manages the delivery of low-risk pregnancies, performs necessary interventions and uses non-drug methods within the scope of his/her competencies.
6.Provides family-centered care to children aged 0-6, monitors them, detects risky situations, and refers them for early diagnosis and treatment.
7.Follows evidence-based scientific and technological developments related to women's health and diseases, perinatal process, newborn and midwifery profession, conducts research and examination.
8. Explains the definition, role, responsibilities, ethical aspects, problems, laws and regulations of midwives at national and international levels and knows professional organizations.
