Objectives of the Course

The main objective of the course is to explain the important developments in the course of administration phenomenon and administrative knowledge, concepts and theories by placing them in their historical stops in terms of social and economic conditions.

Course Content

In this course, the theoretical, methodological and structural development of administrative phenomenon and administrative science is discussed from a historical perspective. In the course, the phenomenon of administration and the production of management knowledge are evaluated through the practices of economic and social organization, not through a business or purely organizational approach. Basic concepts and approaches to management and administration, the management process, the idea of management and administration in the capitalist mode of production are discussed in the theoretical dimension; the development of administrative science knowledge is discussed in the disciplinary dimension. Students are responsible for the open source works mentioned in the introduction and class discussions.
