Objectives of the Course

To define concrete and reinforced concrete elements, to tell the relevant regulations and calculation methods and to solve the problems about concrete and reinforced concrete

Course Content

Reinforced materials, simple bending in beams, single reinforced and double reinforced rectangular, triangular or trapezoidal sections, shear force effects, shear stress, bond stresses, torsion effects, column slenderness, strong column- weak beam concept, detail of beam-column joint, shear wall.
