The aim of this course is to enable students to recognize the importance of land leveling, to choose the methods of land leveling design and measurement, to define the theodolite, to choose the basic calculation methods for coordinate calculations, to calculate polygon values.
Surface leveling methods; Land leveling; Theodolite, its structure and use; Measurement of horizontal and vertical angles by theodolite, calculation of the horizontal and vertical distances; Four main problems related to coordinates; Two point and three point problem and their solutions; Triangulation networks; Principles of traverse survey; Traverse Computations and plotting; Balancing of traverse; Calculation of traverse area.
