The objective of the course is to teach Matlab programming language to students who have basic computer and calculus knowledge and to write them computer programs related to basic engineering subjects. In this context, the basic structure of the Matlab programming language will be given and examples of programs containing basic mathematics and engineering applications such as linear algebra and differential equations will be shown, usage of them in computer will be discussed.
Matlab expressions, constants, variables, vector and matrix operations with Matlab, two-dimensional and three-dimensional graphical plots, functions, loops, selection structures, symbolic operations, programming applications including basic mathematics and engineering topics such as linear algebra, polynomials, derivatives, integrals, differential equations, using the graphical user interface (GUI) with the application designer, Simulink.
