Objectives of the Course

This course aims to provide students to the fundamental conception of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Familiarizing students to laboratory equipment, basic circuit components and measuring techniques with practical experience on simple electrical circuits are intended. It is also aimed at providing a vital necessity, electric safety concept.

Course Content

Definition and scope of Electrical and Electronics Engineering; Electrical instruments: signal and power sources, oscilloscope; fundamental laboratory applications, electric safety rules, engineering ethics.
