Objectives of the Course

The purpose of this course is to help the students understand the phenomenon of tourism is a result of tourist behaviorand learn what the behavior of individual or community is and acquire the necessary skills and competencies of tourism behaving.

Course Content

Understanding of tourism behavior, motivation and tourism behavior, personality traits and tourism behavior, cognition-emotion-learning attitude and behavior of tourism, tourist purchasing, external behavior of the foundations of tourism, tourist demand and tourism behavior, tourist purchasing behavior process (stages, factors, properties, , perceived risk), tourist-specific lifestyle, behaviors, tourist-tourist relations, tourist-tourist-duty to provide information about their relationship.

Week 1 - Theoretical
Foundations of behavior (concept of behaviour, definition of behaviour, general structure and features of tourism behavior, errors in consumer behavior, general approaches to consumer behavior, the models of explaining consumer behavior)
Week 2 - Theoretical
Understanding the tourism behavior (benefits of undersitanding tourism behavior, sciences investigating tourism behavior, , environments of tourism behavior,, displayers of tourism behavior, culture of tourism as a new value)
Week 3 - Theoretical
Motivation and tourism behavior
Week 4 - Theoretical
Personality traits and tourism behavior
Week 5 - Theoretical
External foundations of tourism behaviour
Week 6 - Theoretical
Touristic buying behaviour and its foundations (phases, factors,characteristics, perceived risk)
Week 7 - Theoretical
Information will be given about bargaining and timing behavior of tourists.
Week 8 - Theoretical
Information will be given about complaint behavior of tourists.
Week 9 - Theoretical
Information will be given about tourist typologies.
Week 10 - Theoretical
Touristic experience ( nature of touristic experience, flow experience, phases of touristic experience, characteristics of touristic experience, environments of touristic experience)
Week 11 - Theoretical
Information will be given about tipping behavior of tourists.
Week 12 - Theoretical
Information will be given about tourist- local people relations.
Week 13 - Theoretical
Information will be given about tourist-tourst relations
Week 14 - Theoretical
Information will be given about tourist-employee relations.
