The aim of this course is to enable students to understand the concept of health tourism, the situation of health tourism in the world and in Turkey, types of health tourism and management processes.
This course begins by discussing the concept of health tourism and its historical development and provides a detailed analysis of the types and characteristics of health tourism. Examining the health tourism market and current trends in this market, the course focuses on the management processes of health tourism businesses. International regulations, quality management, marketing strategies and ethical issues are among the important topics of the course. Additionally, topics such as the role of technology in health tourism and the opportunities and challenges of health tourism in Turkey are also covered. The course ends with case studies and general evaluations.
