Objectives of the Course

The aim of the course is to comprehend the general geographical features found in Turkey, to recognise Anatolian civilizations living in the recognition of periods of history and prehistory of the provinces and regions and to ensure that students learn to tourist attractions and geographical data.

Course Content

To be able to explore General geography of Turkey, the first civilizations in residential and archaeological areas in Anatolia, historical and tourist data analysis at provincial level.

1.To be able to comprehend the general geography of Turkey.
2.To be able to comprehend the prehistory of Anatolia.
3.To be able to comprehend the first civilizations in Anatolia (Assyrian, Hittite, Phrygian, Urartu, Lydia, Persia, Ion), and the historical data based on these civilizations.
4.To be able to comprehend the Hellenistic and Roman periods
5.Have knowledge about selcuklu and ottoman periods
6.Have knowledge about historical and touristic values ??in the provinces of Aegean Region.
7. Have information about historical and touristic values ??in the provinces in the Mediterranean Region.
