Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is enable the students to receive knowledge and understanding in terms of the preconditions of the history, the difference of culture from nature, the development of material and moral culture.

Course Content

In this course, the agricultural revolution, the Middle East, Africa and Asia, the rise of the first civilizations, Classical Greek and Hellenistic world, Rome and its empire, distribution and migration of civilization, Byzantine, and in Europe, the rise and spread of Islam, Western civilization, medieval, the Renaissance, the Enlightenment, the French and industrial revolutions, World economy. Russia's rise, outside the West, industrialization, I. World War II, the second global conflict, globalization issues will be discussed.
