Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to evaluate the founding history of the European Union and its relations with Turkey, and to develop the ability to compare tourism practices in Turkey with those of the EU in line with the EU’s approach to tourism.

Course Content

To gain knowledge about the formation and functioning of the EU, one of the most important regional and economic organizations, as well as about the relations between the Union and Turkey.

1.Acquires an understanding of the establishment, historical development, and structure of the European Union
2.Acquires an understanding of the relations between the European Union and Turkey.

4.Acquires the ability to analyze the situation of tourism flows in European Union member states.
5.Acquires an understanding of the requirements for Turkey’s tourism sector in the process of alignment with the European Union.
