Objectives of the Course

This course and the Project II course in the following semester together provide students with a solid understanding of rules and steps in the process of developing a comprehensive research project in the field and assists them in realizing a particular project in practice, which may play an essential role to obtain a post in government and companies. The first half of the project workload is expected to be completed in Project I, and the rest is expected to be completed in Project II, which serves a sequel to the Project I course.

Course Content

The complex system, process and apparatus containing engineering standards and realistic conditions / constraints are designed by using the acquired knowledge and skills in previous courses.

Learning Outcomes
1.Learns the process of preparation, report and oral presentation of a successful research project in the field.
2.Asses the importance of good traits such as self-esteem, perseverance and innovation in developing a successful career.
3.Compare and contrast existing solutions and approaches related to a specific topic in the field and devise his/her own solution.
4.Apply her/his skills in effectively utilizing necessary tools and instruments in the design and implemention of a project.
5.Develop a strong engineering background and effectively apply the knowledge and experience in the field in the process of design and development of a project.
