Objectives of the Course

This course is designed to show students how to use internet environment, social media circles and their relations with journalism and how to use them in news reporting practices.

Course Content

In this course: information on the beginning and development stages of the internet will be given; how internet formats will be used in news reporting and in which forms; it will be explained how news reporting activities will be conducted in these new circles without waiving the basic journalistic principles; the effects of the interactive structure of the internet environment on the reporting process will be examined.
