Objectives of the Course

In this lesson, firstly the history of communication technologies will be explained. Subsequently, the social changes and transformations that each new communication technology brings together and it’s effects on mass movements will be dealt with.

Course Content

The course will focus on the following topics: definition, scope and variety of communication technologies; media types; the effects of the media on society; the effects of media on mass movements; the effects of new communication technologies on society and mass movements.
