Objectives of the Course

News photography is a typographical type of photographic news supported by short or long texts to clarify visual narrative. Top-to-bottom news-document photos have become indispensable parts of the press, which is one of today's communication tools. In addition to news gathering and writing techniques, the placement and use of visuals will make the news more effective and lasting. The course content prepared for this purpose will also provide practicality in news writing.

Course Content

In this course, the history of news photography and the theoretical and practical knowledge will be taught. Students will learn how to produce a news photograph. In this lesson, the effects of the photo on public opinion will be discussed.

Weekly Detailed Course Contents
Week 1 - Theoretical
A photograph describing the event is answering the questions in 5W1H, the basic formula of the journalism.
Week 2 - Theoretical
The photograph should give information about the event. The incident should be about news. He should witness it.
Week 3 - Theoretical
The news photograph contains motion action and interesting quirks should be found in the content of the news story that takes place.
