Objectives of the Course

The aim of the course is: to provide students with information about political history and also aims to convey to students the important political events that have taken place in and around the geographical region where our country is located.

Course Content

Events that have influences all over the World such as French Revolution, the First World War, the Second World War, etc.; political events that have influences mainly our country such as foundation of the Republic, military coups, multi-party transition, etc. will be examined in this course. In addition, political events and situations will be examined in the context of international relations and globalization.

6.Have knowledge about modernization, parliamentaryism, capitalism, political movements, democracy, Third World, independence, imperialism, globalization, transnationalism, multiculturalism.
