The aim of the course is to enable students who have taken the Introduction to Sociology course to see the relations between the subjects of sociology and to establish the part-whole relation in sociological reality and thus to gain sociological imagination. At the end of the course, it is aimed that students will be able to remember and explain basic sociological concepts, to distinguish sociological phenomena both as institutions and as interaction networks in the process of change, as well as to interpret the meanings, patterns and processes in the global world using sociological knowledge, to explain the function of method and research in the production of sociological knowledge.
