Objectives of the Course

This course aims to contribute to the development of students' ability to design entertainment formats for television and media tools.

Course Content

Knowledge contests, parkour contests, talk shows, television theatre, performance contests, pool and water games contests, in-studio competition programs, outdoor applications, decor and stage applications, use of action cameras, costume applications, presenting applications, contestant selection and manipulation applications constitute the content of the course.

3.To be able to explain the entertainment dynamics of the Turkish World
4.Costume making-designing, setting and preparing scenery – Developing skills and knowledge of setting and designing props
5.Developing skills of presenting, coordination, technical equipment (camera-light-sound, etc.)

7.To be a competitor, to know the methods and techniques of selecting a competitor and guest to the program

History of Entertainment - Entertainment in Rome - Fair Culture and Clowning in the West - Illusion and Extreme (Dangerous) Performances
Week 2 - Theoretical & Practice
Entertainment in Turks and Ottomans in the Islamic World Fair Culture and Oral Culture
Week 3 - Theoretical & Practice
The History of Entertainment and the Culture of Chicago in the United States - Industrial Revolution/Mass Media and Entertainment as Industry/Show Business
Week 4 - Theoretical & Practice
Theoretical Student selections - actor - presenter - cameraman - decorator - light and sound artist, jury members, stage assistants, contestants, audience - software developers, credits and kj and editing staff
Week 5 - Theoretical & Practice
Overview of entertainment formats, methods of increasing tension and excitement in the audience (on screen and in-studio) (controlled applause, tempo, in-studio sound practices, secret agreement with competitors), motivation in entertainment (award, prestige, money, visibility, intellectual satisfaction, etc.) .
