Objectives of the Course

To provide students with basic concepts and basic concepts of sociology. To prepare a ground for sociological thinking and sociological analysis. To explain social phenomena and events from different sociological theories and to understand and discuss the structure and functioning of social institutions. In addition, to gain the ability to discuss and analyze current social problems based on sociological explanations. To develop the ability to transfer and use the intellectual infrastructure provided To be able to approach the phenomenon of communication sociologically

The Development Of Sociology As A Science, Sociological Perspective and Sociological Thinking, The Concept of Community and Social Structure, Social Change, Modernism and Postmodernism, Globalization, Poverty, Sex and Gender, Urbanization, Media, Communication, Mass Communication
