Objectives of the Course

The course aims to provide the students with a general knowledge on constutitutional law.

Course Content

The concept of constitution and constitutional law; state; political power; political parties; electoral systems; governmental systems; fundamental rights and freedoms, Turkish Constitutional Law.

1.Understand the basic concepts of constitutional law within the main organs of the state
2.Will be able to comment on the political process in terms of a legal perspective
3.Will be able to evaluate the constitutional dimensions of political, social and economic changes and transformations that Turkey can live and will live in the future
4.To be able to critically examine the decisions of the Constitutional Court on certain constitutional problems, in particular basic rights and freedoms
5.To gain the ability to reach written and electronic sources on constitutional law
