Objectives of the Course

Turkish music of genre, form and concepts are explained and taught by them.

Course Content

Species of Turkish music, Turkish music strings used in the sound and pitch, melody, apps, theme, tune, patterns, motives and melodic development methods, modulation, flavor, color, polyphony, into a boring and monotonous work of the agents, the aesthetic beauty of music in his work. The causes and arts, music items, and the format of formal work, determine the form of a work, format text, format of fictions disclosure, Turkish music formats, the classification of shapes, forms a two-part, threepart forms.

Introduction to the course, approaches to be followed
Week 2 - Theoretical
What is type? Comparison between type and style, awareness of type in international music and types of Turkish music, (Traditional Turkish Art music, Modern Turkish Music)
Week 3 - Theoretical
Sound, Sound and pitch system in Turkish Music , (Tampere dizge, Onyedili Perde Dizgesi). (Discussion about Pitch and Sound system).
Week 4 - Theoretical
Komalı Sound systems, Yirmidörtlü Ses Dizgesi, (Discussion about Komalı sound system))
Week 5 - Theoretical
Melody, Uygu, Theme,Mode, (related examples will make the subject more clear. )
Week 6 - Theoretical
Pattern, development techniques of pattern and melody; (Motifin ya da ezginin ses genliğini genişletme veya daraltma, Motifin ya da ezginin ses sürelerinin büyütülmesi veya küçültülmesi, motifin yatay ya da dikey ters çevrilmesi),(related examples will make the subject more clear).
